Prehistoric Museum Expands Geological Component with New Exhibit

The Prehistoric Museum recently expanded its geological aspect of the museum. The display is open to the public to view and learn more about the geology in Eastern Utah.

The exhibit, titled The Making of Eastern Utah, combines descriptive information and pictures along with rock samples, making it a great learning tool for visitors at the museum. Those who visit The Making of Eastern Utah display will learn things such as types rocks found in the local area and a history of the land in Eastern Utah.

The Prehistoric Museum is a multifaceted museum that contains paleontology, archaeology and geology. The community is welcome to tour the museum Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Price is $6 for adults and there are special discounts for seniors and children.
