October 27th will be Make a Difference Day, a day that will bring attention to all the volunteer work available in Carbon County.
Currently, there are so many different ways to get involved with helping out the county through the RSVP volunteer program, America’s largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over. There’s something for everyone when it comes to opportunities such as; helping at the senior center, helping students with learning disabilities at elementary schools, and many more. RSVP also does the clothing, food, and coat drives.
If you would like to get involved with RSVP and join the other 200 volunteers currently helping the county, contact Rebecca Mason at 636-3204 or email her at rebecca.mason@carbon.utah.gov
