The Price City Peace Gardens has been the meeting spot for a local farmers market every Saturday since July. USU Extension Agent Ron Patterson was approached and asked if he wanted to start a farmers market, which has been going since 2007.
There are 20 to 25 vendors that come every year, and everything that is sold is grown locally. There are not only booths for fruits and vegetables, there are also crafts tables. A number of local businesses also have booths.
If you are looking to open up your own booth at the farmers market, all you have to do is give Ron Patterson a call at 435-636-3233. The booths are $30 for the whole year. The farmers market will continue until the end of October.
