On October 14, many of the middle schools and junior high schools in Carbon County and the surrounding areas came together to compete in a volleyball tournament, which was hosted at Helper Middle School.
The first game was against Canyon View and Helper, which Canyon View won. Secondly, Mont Harmon competed against San Rafael and was triumphant. After that, Canyon View and Mont Harmon went head-to-head with the resulting winner being Canyon View. Helper versus San Rafael was the competition in the next match, with Helper coming up victorious, knocking San Rafael out of the competition. Overall, the winning team was Canyon View.
“My players are amazing and I love every single one of them,” coach Vasquez of the Helper Middle School team said following the tournament. “I am so proud of them.”
