A free IT open house will be hosted on June 16 at the Business and Technical Assistance Center (BTAC) located at 375 South Carbon Avenue in Price. The open house will take place from 3-6 p.m. and will be hosted by Accelerant and Carbon County Economic Development.
Accelerant and Carbon County Economic Development Director Tami Ursenbach are hosting a Free Open House to discuss the new IT opportunities coming to our community. Learn about a new networking group, IT classes and the prospect to work in the IT field with large corporations. Accelerant is looking to virtually hire skilled individuals from Carbon and Emery counties.
Come prepared to apply for one of the 20 scholarships from Panada Labs. The course will include introduction to coding, web design and business. This is a 12-week course that will be held virtually in Price. Advance your career and take part of a great job experience. Tomorrow’s future in Carbon and Emery counties starts with the knowledge you will gain from attending this course.
You will be able to network with other IT people at the open house. If you are looking for a career change, bring your resume to apply with one of the large companies, learn about a road trip with a large company and available training.

They have come to recognize the important role rural county’s play in the economy, and the tremendous resource that is in rural Utah.
