Formerly known as S&G Auto, Huntington Parts City serves professional and retail customers, providing various parts, products and services to the Emery County area.
Owned by David Sebring, the business completed its transition to Parts City, a brand of O’Reilly Auto Parts, in November of last year. This partnership allows Huntington Parts City to offer an extensive inventory of more than 300,000 items available and overnight delivery on hard-to-find parts, as well as ongoing sale prices on oil, appearance products, maintenance chemicals and seasonal items.
The goal of Parts City is to not to compete with local mechanics and service providers, but rather to support and provide products to these businesses.
“We don’t want to compete with local businesses, we want to support them,” Sebring said.
With thousands of products available including repair parts, lights and lenses, specialty tools, sealants, oil and oil filters and much more, Parts City provides customers with a large in-store selection as well as overnight delivery. Parts City also delivers products to Emery County businesses and offers commodity sales, which offer customers discounts when purchasing in bulk.
In terms of service, Parts City offers small engine repair. Employees Jared Curtis and Ted Bennett work together to repair engines such as those found in ATVs, lawn mowers, tillers and side-by-sides.
Curtis and Bennett have recently expanded their service work at Parts City to include Cub Cadet. Now a full service dealer, Parts City sells a variety of Cub Cadet products as well as services the complete line. Repairs can also be paired with pick up and delivery services upon request.
In addition to auto parts, the local business also carries irrigation products. Customers can find a variety of wheel line irrigation parts as well as lawn and garden sprinklers.
Parts City will soon be adding another service to its customers by becoming an official UPS shipping center. The shipping center will come to fruition in the coming weeks and will include boxes, packing as well as weighing and shipping of customers’ packages.
Huntington Parts City is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and can be contacted at (435) 687-2288. The business is located at 389 North Main Street in Huntington.
