Castle Valley Community Theater’s newest production, “Nunsense,” will take the stage at Mont Harmon Middle School’s auditorium starting this weekend.
The musical comedy centers around The Little Sisters of Hoboken who, after the tragic death of 52 of their sisters due to a bout of botulism from a questionable batch of vichyssoise soup, are in need of funds for funeral costs, according to information from CVCT.
Hilarity ensues for the sisters and audience as a benefit show is hosted to help raise the needed funds where everything that can go wrong does.
Several locals will be highlighted at the show including Karen Bedont playing Mother Superior, Mary Regina, Kristy Woodhouse as Sister Hubert, Mekette Keele Hodges playing Sister Robert Anne, Jennifer Lott Lopez staring as Sister Mary Amnesia and Jami Maus taking the role of Sister Mary Leo.
Local Diane Clifford will also take the stage as Sister Mary Manilow with Ashley Yakovich playing Sister Mary Squelch. Sarah Clark finishes off the cast as Sister Mary Myopeia.
The show will play on Nov. 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 and 14. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. each night with matinees on both Saturdays at 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at $7 and will be sold at the door.
