The Emery High Lady Spartans hit the road Tuesday to take on the South Sevier Rams in Monroe, taking a huge 70-40 victory.
The Black and Gold in points by Sophomore Megan Jensen, who notched 16 throughout the game as well as fellow sophomore Bailey Huggard, who put up 12 of her own.
The Lady Spartans grabbed a lead in the first and continued their dominance. The first ended at 15-8 while the second put Emery 19 points ahead of the Rams. The Spartans would continue their stellar work en route to the overall victory.
Emery’s next chance to continue their winning streak will come on Friday as the team hosts North Summit at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 1o.
