The Ice Skating Pond is frozen and open for skating at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. The pond is open Tuesday-Sunday from dawn to 10 p.m. The pond will be closed on Mondays for resurfacing.
Rental Skates are available at Carbon County Recreation
You can rent skates for $5 per pair, 2 pair for $8. We also have group rate if you rent 10 or more skates they are only $3 per pair.
There will be a free ice skating party on January 7
You can reserve skates from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Skates are reserved in one hour time slots so that everyone has a chance to skate. There will also be free chili and hot chocolate. Skates have to reserved by January 4. Reserve skates by calling Carbon Rec at 435-636-3702.
