You’re invited to a workshop for Carbon County residents to explore and discuss future recreation possibilities in the Nine Mile Canyon area. The workshop is scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Carbon County Administration Building located at 751 E 100 N Price, UT.
Carbon County is hosting the workshop to solicit input from local residents about their ideas for recreation in the canyon and to share thoughts about integrating new opportunities with existing uses. Public Lands Solutions will facilitate the open discussions. Light refreshments will be provided.
An agenda is provided below for those interested in a specific topic:
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Non-motorized recreation
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Motorized recreation
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Review potential impacts on private land, ranching, grazing,
archaeology, and oil and gas
6:00 – 6:15 p.m. Break
6:15 – 7:00 p.m. – River and future reservoir recreation
