The annual Greek Festival 5K had racers lined up early Saturday morning to kick off the second day of Greek Festival 2017.
Organized by Carbon County Recreation, the 5K takes place in conjunction with the annual Greek Festival Days hosted by the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Funds raised from the event directly benefit the church and next year’s festival.
Jason Merrell crossed the finish line first with a time of 20.54 followed by 14-year-old Landon Hardy at 21.56. Colton Clement was just behind to round out the top three at 22.14.
