Work at the Millsite State Campground is advancing as scheduled. The Utah State Parks Department arranged to improve and reconstruct the entire campground while crews are working on the dam rehabilitation.
Every camping spot will now have water and electricity. This infrastructure is already in the ground and ready to use. Concrete pads are also available at every camping spot and a new pavilion pad has been poured. The restrooms are ready to be reset and the boat ramp extension is being poured. Riff-raff rocks are being hauled around the exposed area at the tip of the campground. Black top, sod and sprinkler systems are ready to be added to the improved campground.
The campground will be ready for spring reservations, according to project leaders.
