It is no secret that there has been plenty of construction happening in Price lately. It’s all part of the flood infrastructure project through Price City, which is nearing completion.
According to Price City Engineer Russell Seeley, the project is on schedule and is going great.
Crews have been focusing on the culvert at 400 South at Mead’s Wash. This week, crews began to install pieces of the culvert and will finish in the next coming days. After the culvert is placed, crews will back fill to keep the culvert in place as well as install head walls, aprons and wing walls to ensure stability.
Rocks will be placed to support the culvert, and will be completed once the road is repaved.
“After the project at 400 South is complete, there are just a few touch ups,” said Seeley. “Otherwise, we are finished.”
