It was narrow but the Carbon Lady Dinos found victory over visiting Providence Hall in a region matchup on Thursday in Price.
The first half started slow for both teams as they entered halftime scoreless. Ryan Brady rallied for Carbon to score the lone goal of the game in the second half and take the win, 1-0.
Katie Marshall and Ronni Williams split the defense of the goal to record the shutout.
Carbon (3-1, 2-0 Region 14) will be on the road next as the team travels to take on Maeser Prep (0-1, 0-1 Region 14) on Tuesday. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
