Looking to avenge an earlier, 17-6 loss to Piute, the Pinnacle Panthers faced off against the Thunderbirds again on Friday.
Despite a lead late in the game, Pinnacle was handed a 14-10 loss.
Jaxson Carlisle threw four innings before having to exit the game because of pitch count. He gave up just two earned runs while striking out nine batters.
Zach Gibson, Riley Wilson, Carlisle and Christian McLean all had two hits apiece. McLean and Stetson Motte both added three RBIs apiece as well.
The Panthers will host Valley on Friday and will then travel to Bryce Valley the following Wednesday.
