The Carbon County Board of Commissioners, along with the Carbon County Road Shop, recently gave notice that the county’s road department will be performing work along the 9 Mile Road Corridor as well as all of Carbonville.
It was explicitly requested that, during this construction, individuals do not park any vehicles along the roadways of the two areas. The construction is slated to begin on June 3 and is expected to be completed by the end of the same month, with the exception of unforeseen issues as well as weather conditions.
Road work is said to take place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the road rehabilitation may cause temporary inconveniences or delays due to the nature of the work.
Those traveling in the listed areas should expect delays, and the two departments expressed that patience during this period from all is greatly appreciated in order to better the county, its roads and more.
