Over 50 riders registered for the Arapeen ATV Jamboree that took place last week at Castle Valley Outdoors with various rides throughout Emery County. This ride is slated as a no stress retreat and happens on the second weekend of September each year. It is sponsored by Emery County and led by Amanda Leonard, the county’s event director.
The retreat began on Thursday morning with a breakfast and directions for the rides. Some participants chose to ride on the desert on the “Behind the Reef Trail” while others preferred the mountains. The evening dinner and music were also at the scenic Castle Valley Outdoors.
This continued on Friday and Saturday with different rides along the Arapeen trail. Saturday evening, in culmination, awards and recognition were presented. A continental breakfast was the final get together before everyone departed.
