Press Release

Tina Henrie with Carbon County Tourism has a fun job, no doubt.

Upon returning from the Utah tourism conference last week, Henrie was able to host a post conference familiarization (FAM) tour with representatives from both Germany and China. Henrie works closely with the Utah Office of Tourism to host and arrange familiarization tours with the international market, film creators, creative writing teams and more.

It’s no surprise that the most popular request is Helper. The news about Helper and the Carbon Corridor is growing not only in the United States, but internationally as well.

This provides an opportunity for the county to show off its visitor assets. The recent visitors were taken back by the beauty of Helper, the river revitalization, art galleries, eateries, Airbnbs and history of the museum.

“We hope to host many more FAM tours to show off our amazing communities so that the word will continue to spread. The Corridor offers unique experiences for families, outdoor enthusiasts, art and cultural seekers, and yes, even the passerbys,” said Henrie.
