Carbon played its last home football game of the season on Friday against San Juan. As per tradition, Carbon honored its senior athletes as they competed for their final time on their home turf.
The Broncos are one of the top 3A teams in the state and they showed it on Friday. They quickly went up 13-0 in the first quarter and went into halftime up 20-6. San Juan broke the game open in the second half, scoring 14 points in each of the final two quarters. Carbon fell 48-6 on senior night.
The Dinos (1-7, 0-4 Region 12) will look for their first region win and a chance to make the state playoffs against South Sevier (1-8, 1-3 Region 12) in Monroe on Wednesday.
