After defeating the Wildcats in Richfield a couple weeks ago, Carbon was looking to make it two on Friday night. However, before the game tipped off, the Dinos recognized their three seniors, including Jordan Fossat, Jackson Griffeth and Rylan Hart.
Richfield jumped out to a 10-4 lead early, but Carbon found its footing and made a huge run. In fact, the Dinos went on a 22-2 run and took control. The Wildcats cut it to 11 at several points in the game, but Carbon kept Richfield at bay to win, 62-49.
Hart was named the Tram Electric Player of the Game with his 19 points, three steals and two blocks. Three others reached double-figure points, including Braxton Stevenson with 13, Griffeth with 12 and Chet Anderson with 10.
The Dinos did a great job getting their hands on the ball, which resulted in 15 steals. Three of those steals came at the hand of Fossat, who also recorded six assists while Griffeth tallied three steals.
The Dinos (9-9, 5-2) will end the year with two road games, including Manti (12-8, 5-2) on Wednesday and Emery (5-13, 2-4) on Friday. The latter game will be streamed live on ETV Channel 10 and online at etvnews.com/livesports.
