Ryan Macart appeared before Judge Douglas B. Thomas in Seventh District court on Monday regarding a child sex abuse case.
Macart, 20, appeared for an arraignment of six second degree felony charges for sexual assault of a child. He pleaded guilty to all charges.
Macart will be released from the Carbon County Jail after a meeting with Adult Probation and Parole. He is prohibited from having any contact with the victim or her family.
On March 1, Macart was booked into the jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. According to Price City Police Detective Ed Malmgren, Macart was helping facilitate a physical altercation between 12 and 13-year-old females.
The following day, Malmgren interviewed Macart regarding the contributing charge. During the interview, alleged confessions were obtained from Macart in relation to the aforementioned charges. The cases are connected to five victims, including one from Carbon County and four from Richfield.
According to Price City Police Captain Bill Barnes, Macart was originally booked in the Carbon County Jail on four counts of first degree felony rape of a child and four counts of first degree felony sodomy of a child.
