Emery High School students participated in the Region Band and Choir Festival on Tuesday at the EHS auditorium.
The concerts lasted throughout the day with band in the morning and choir in the afternoon.
The EHS band and choir where both selected to participate at the state level later this year.
The Emery band is directed by Mr. Ben Carroll who worked with his students for many hours in preparation for the festival.
The EHS choir is directed by Mr. David Bird and accompanied by Mrs. Marilee Cox. Bird will take three different choirs to state, including the Men’s Choir, Womens’ Choir and Concert Choir.
The Men’s Choir was privileged to have Mrs. Angela Pulli as a second pianist for one of their pieces.
