Creekview Elementary’s end-of-the year awards ceremony took place Thursday morning during an assembly for fifth and sixth graders.
Artwork from all grades surrounded family members and friends as they gathered in the cafeteria to recognize Creekview’s outstanding students from the school year.
Students were recognized on a school level, as well as on a classroom level, with awards that praised students for their artistic abilities, improvements, high grades and perfect attendance.
Along with these awards, STEM-thinker awards were given to students in their classes for outstanding work in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, and Patriot awards given to students who showed dedication and appreciation of their country.
Members of the student council were also praised for their hard work throughout the school year.
