Recent downpours have filled the wash along Highway 10, and the massive overflow put several portions of the highway underwater Wednesday afternoon.
Some parts of the highway were covered in as much as two feet of water.
An Emery County Sherriff’s Deputy said, “I have never in my life seen this much water in the wash.”
Authorities cautioned travelers to slow down and drive carefully in such conditions.
