Residents throughout Carbon County are cleaning up following a series of storms and flooding Monday evening and early Tuesday morning. Volunteers are assisting in this effort throughout the area. However, more volunteers are needed.
Homeowners near 620 North, 630 North and 550 North, Pinnacle Subdivision in Gordon Creek are asking for help from volunteers to fill and place sand bags as well as assist with clean up this afternoon. A nearby creek overflowed into backyards and homes in this area. Property owners fear that flash flooding may occur again this evening.
Anyone interested in helping with the flood control and clean up effort may report to this area to offer assistance.
