Initial reports from University of Utah Seismograph Stations indicate that a 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck six miles northwest of Orangeville at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday night. The exact location of the earthquake was reported as 39.284В°N, 111.132В°W.
No damage has been reported, but the shaking has caused plenty of buzz on social networking sites, even sparking a Facebook group called “I survived the Emery County Earthquake of 2011!”
