Icy Conditions Cause Accident in Wellington

Friday morning, a 17- year- old girl driving a white pick up truck hit into a power pole at mile marker 245 at about 8:30 a.m. in Wellington.

Officials reported she was driving too fast for the given road conditions, resulting in her losing control of the car. She was wearing her seat belt and received no injuries.

Another accident occurred early Friday morning on Highway 10, mile marker 54. A male driver, also traveling too fast for the current road conditions, lost control of his vehicle, ending in a rollover. No injuries were reported.

Utah Highway Patrol reminds motorists to take it slow this winter.
