Carbon County Theft Bust

After an intensive investigation spanning from early October 2012 until mid December 2012, officers from the Price City Police Department, Helper Police Department, and agents from the Carbon Metro Drug Task Force, served a search warrant at a residence in Helper, UT. (Security personnel from WalMart also assisted with the investigation.) Officers and agents also obtained consent to search at a Price residence, where stolen items were located.

In addition, an item of drug paraphernalia was located at the Helper residence. Drug paraphernalia and a small amount of personal use marijuana were located at the Price residence.

Numerous stolen items were recovered, including several TVs including a 47” flatscreen, computers, printers, a Dyson vacuum cleaner, dishes, utensils, diapers, children’s toys, dvd players, Xbox, bread maker, an artificial Christmas tree, and a blow up yard Christmas decoration set.

Two adult males were booked into the Carbon County Jail on 12-12-12.

Christopher Elias Ori, DOB 7-19-77, from Helper, UT, was charged with 10 counts of Felony Theft, Obstructing Justice, Conspiracy, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Rorry D. Cripps, DOB 3-9-83, from Price, UT, was charged with Felony Theft, Conspiracy, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
