***UPDATE***
At 9:01a.m. a Chevrolet Avalanche was eastbound on I-70 at mile marker 83. The vehicle rolled multiple times off to the side of I-70 . The truck was occupied by a family of 5, who were all ejected from the vehicle. Three passed away on scene( one infant male and 2 adult females) the 4th victim was transported by medical helicopter to the University of Utah medical center. The 5th occupant (male 46 years old) was transported by medical helicopter to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead at the hospital. None of the occupants were seat belted or in car seat when the crash occurred.
The victims are 46-year-old Juan C. Flores from Bellevue, NE (deceased), 55-year-old Teresa Lopez from Omaha, NE (deceased), 19-year-old Carla S. Flores of Omaha, NE (deceased) and 18-year-old Naila N Flores also from Omaha, NE (currently in critical condition at U of U Medical Center) and Alexander E. Flores, 10-months old from Omaha, NE (deceased).
I -70 was closed eastbound while the medical personnel attended to the victims. The investigation is on going as to why the crash occurred but it is being looked at as possible a fatigue related.

It has been reported that three people have died and two others are critically injured following an automobile accident this morning around 9 a.m. on I-70 in Salina Canyon.
Sgt. Todd Royce with Utah Highway Patrol reported that an eastbound Chevy Avalanche with Nebraska plates rolled near milepost 83. There were five passengers in the vehicle who were all ejected.
Early reports say a 10-month-old baby and a woman in her 30s died on impact and another woman in her 50s was not able to be revived at the scene of the accident.
Two others, one male and one female, are in extremely critical condition.
