Sunday evening at approximately 7 p.m., public safety dispatch received a call regarding a driver in a new Dodge Challenger dodging and passing vehicles traveling south on Highway 10 at a high rate of speed.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Tana Allred, the driver of the Challenger, Charlie Jensen, failed to negotiate the turn onto Highway 29 and rolled one time off the left side of the road into the gravel pit.
Jensen was transported to Castleview Hospital for minor lacerations to his right arm where he received a clean check out. Jensen was then transported to Carbon County Jail for alcohol impairment.
