The Emery High School band students along with sixth grade students from Castle Dale Elementary, Cottonwood Elementary and Ferron Elementary hosted their annual Christmas Band Concert on Thursday evening. Family and friends were entertained in the Emery High Auditorium by the beautiful Christmas music.
As a combined band, director Ben Carroll led the sixth graders in “First Christmas Suite” arranged by Mika Hannickel, “Good King Wenceslas,” “Oh Come Little Children” and “Jolly Old St. Boogey-Claus.”
The Emery High band then played “Wintry Scene” by Richard Fote, “O Holy Night” arranged by Calvin Custer, “A Stylish Christmas” arranged by Murray Houliff (Percussion Feature) “A crazy Mixed-up Christmas Concert” by David Shaffer and “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson.
