A rollover accident on I-70, approximately 20 miles west of Green River, left one person dead on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred near mile marker 139 at 1:30 p.m. when the driver of a white Ford Fusion fell asleep while driving. The car hit into the back of a semi trailer, causing the Fusion to go off the road and into the median, rolling several times.
A female passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected form the vehicle. The male driver was also not wearing a seatbelt but remained in the vehicle. Molly Jensen, 21, of Denver, Colo. died at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
