The Battin’ for Boobies Co-Ed softball tournament took place on Saturday, where many members of the community came together to raise money for Rita Vigor, to go toward her medical costs. The tournament was hosted at the baseball fields located near the fairgrounds and went on almost all day, starting at 9 a.m.
An abundance of the community came together and formed teams to raise the money needed for Rita. The event was in conjunction with October being national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
