BEAR Program Explained at Carbon County Chamber Luncheon

The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on Thursday was hosted by Ascension St. Matthews  Church in Price. The topic of of the month was the Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) Program. Ethan Migilori and Mike McCandles explained the program and talked about goals for the upcoming year.

Members of the local BEAR program are constantly searching for ways to improve the Castle Country community through expanding and improving business. The program currently serves Carbon, Emery and Grand counties. Using state and local funding, the program offers tools to help grow and maintain local businesses. Focusing on building solid relationships with businesses, members spend time collecting and analyzing data to help solve problems in the local area.

The business of the month for November was Great Clips. Owner Suzanne Simmons talked about the services and products offered by the business and thanked the community for its support.

There will be no chamber luncheon in the month of December. Luncheon will resume in January.
