A benefit horseshoe tournament was hosted for Misty Barney-Snyder in Castle Dale on Saturday. Barney-Snyder suffered from a gunshot wound in June by her husband Chad Snyder. The single gunshot wound was to her arm but then traveled through her upper body, causing numerous internal injuries that required multiple surgeries.
Jamie Allen organized the benefit to help assist Barney-Snyder and her family with the medical expenses associated with her injuries. A silent auction was also held with all proceeds going to Barney-Snyder.
Chad Allen and Cody Allen took first place and second place went to Clinton “Chief” Badback and Dustin Lofley.
