Bruin Point Elementary School recently welcomed parents, siblings, grandparents and more to its family night. Many hands worked hard to ensure that the event was a success for all.
Miss Brandi, Mrs. Sherwood and Miss Judi were all credited as cooking a delicious ham dinner complete with the usual fixings. Miss Nicole, Miss Sammie, Brandi Cross and Miss Nikki created and decorated a “thankful tree” where families filled out leaves from their tables to hang on the tree.
Also during the event, principal Dina Wise presented the School Improvement Plan, emphasizing the newly-revised behavior plan. Families were able to engage in bingo, called out by Mr. Grundy. Other games were offered while Mrs. Carlson and Miss Wells sold concessions to snack on after the aforementioned meal.
“We would like to thank all the families who came out and supported our school family event as well as everyone who worked to make it a fun night,” school staff concluded.
