Last Chance Soda and Snacks, located on West Main Street in Emery Town, has rapidly become the gathering
place for citizens of Emery County.
Owned and operated by Varian and Denise Allen, Last Chance opened its doors around one year ago; their
grand opening occurred July 24, 2015. Varian used lumber from the old Olsen Hardware Store that once stood where their new business now stands to construct their building.
Their menu consists of snow cones, snow creams, fountain drinks, ice cream and snacks. On Wednesday evenings they barbecue hamburgers to add to their menu items. This order includes a hamburger, chips, cookies, and a fountain drink. Last Chance also features “Muddy Drinks”: adding various flavors to fountain drinks.
Business hours are Mondays, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., closed
on Tuesdays. It has become a residential favorite to visit. Some nearby residents of Ferron have also discovered this fun gathering place.
They offer lower prices and are happy to serve everyone.
