Miller’s Landing is an event center in a historic building located in Huntington and is owned and operated by Kathy Justice. According to the original blueprints, which were discovered during the restoration of the building, the building was originally built in 1912 and was once a bank, a post office, a dry goods store and a furniture store.
Justice loves old buildings and has always had a fondness for the building that now houses Miller’s Landing. When the building came up for sale, Justice put in an offer to purchase it. After her offer was accepted, the real work began.
The building was not up to code and needed to be rewired and plumbed. The furnace and air conditioning also needed to be updated. In addition, the original wood flooring and ceiling tiles were restored and the brick on the building was redone with brick from an old building in Salt Lake City, which matched the original brick.
Miller’s Landing is an all-inclusive event center for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, family reunions, fundraisers, birthday parties, retirement parties, karaoke parties, company parties, luncheons, conventions, business events and so much more.
