Canyon Ice, a Hawaiian shaved ice business serving Carbon and Emery counties, cut the ribbon at its Helper location on Monday afternoon.
Canyon Ice is home to a variety of Hawaiian shaved ice treats, including popular flavors such as cherry, strawberry, watermelon and blue raspberry. Other unique flavors range from cheesecake and bubblegum to cake batter and pink lemonade. Prices start at $1 for a mini serving and range to large and flower cup varieties. Ice cream is also available for purchase.
The Helper Canyon Ice shack, located at 201 South Main, is one of just three in the two-county area. Emery County customers can find frozen treats at Huntington Lake as well as R Pizza Place in Castle Dale.
