Emery High School’s auditorium was the setting for the Canyon View and San Rafael Junior High Fall Choir concert. Performing first was San Rafael’s seventh grade chorus, who sang three numbers: “Alexander’s Rag Time Band,” “Simply Gregorian,” and “An African Wish.”
The combined boys choir, comprised of seventh, eighth and ninth graders, from Canyon View and eighth and ninth graders from San Rafael, sang “Captain Jinks,” ”Lightning,” and “Homeward Bound.” The women’s choir then followed with “Angus Dei,” “Hummingbird” and “Address to the Moon.”
Following those numbers, the two choirs the combined to perform “Amazing Grace” and “Shoshone Love Song,” concluding with “Lord, You Are My Light.”
