Carbon High athletes are required to keep up their academics as a condition to participate.
With all the practices and traveling, it would be understandable that class work might take a back seat to their sport. But quite a few student athletes at Carbon maintain stellar GPA’s as well as shine at their sport.To be named as an Academic All-Region or Academic All-State an athlete must maintain a В solid GPA. For region it is usually 3.8 or higher. At the state level it is almost always over a 3.9.
