On Thursday, Carbon County Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly lunch and learn event.
Attendees were given a presentation on health care options for small businesses by Cole Hansen from the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
Hansen spoke about the recent changes in health insurance requirements for small businesses as well as some upcoming changes. He described an alternative to the government’s Health Insurance Marketplace called Avenue H.

The business of the month was Utah Power Credit Union. The credit union was represented by manager Ann Milano who said the credit union iss celebrating 80 years in the local area. She also reminded those in attendance about the Business After Hours event that will be hosted at their Carbon County location on the evening of June 4.
