Carbon County Chief Deputy Cletis Steele was honored at the Carbon County Commission meeting on Wednesday evening as May’s employee of the month.
The award wasn’t given during the month of May due to a family emergency. However, it is an award that many say is well-deserved.
“He is an amazing friend and colleague,” shared Rose Barnes.
Carbon County Sheriff Jeff Wood also took a moment to sing Steele’s praises to the listening crowd and commissioners. Wood stated that it is truly amazing what Steele is able to accomplish in a single given day.
“Rose said it well; he’s very efficient in everything he does,” Wood stated.
Steele himself then spoke, thanking the commissioners for all the work that they put forth as well as thanking all for the opportunity and the honor.
