Members of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) gathered on Saturday with family and friends at Los 2 Amigos in Price to aptly celebrate a local employee.
Carbon County Citizen Kyle Hansen was named the 2018 Hunter Education Instructor of the Year, an award that was presented to him at the celebration event. Hansen won the title for the Southeastern Utah area and there are six areas throughout the state that name a top educator. From here, the winners will compete to be named the Utah Hunter Education Instructor of the Year for the entire state.
During the announcement of his accomplishments, Hansen was cited as being a hard-working volunteer that brings much insight to those that he instructs. He was given a commemorative plaque to honor winning the title.
