Carbon County Human Resources Director Rose Barnes along with Carbon County Commissioners honored Alma Fister for her years of dedicated service to the community on Wednesday. After nearly 20 years of working for the county, Fister is retiring.
“It’s an honor, you know, and it’s a bittersweet time,” Barnes said about Fister’s retirement. “She has really been a very good employee for the county. She’s done so much.”
Fister worked in the assessor’s office for the county.
“We are going to miss her because she added a lot to the team,” Barnes concluded.
