Separate sealed bids will be received by Carbon County for the overhaul of the HVAC of a building located at 240 West Main Street. The project will require the following:
1. All rooftop units need built in VFD;
2. Factory installed Economizers;
3. Hail guards;
4. Elevation Kits;
5. Curb adapters;
6. wired into building control and smoke screen;
7. Demand Controlled Ventilation installed and configured;
8. Connect to existing BacTalk BMS;
9. Supply documentation needed for ThermWise program participation;
10. Timeline for completion;
11. All Employees must undergo and pass a background check to be allowed to work on the project.
12. Units to be supplied:
1 – 3 ton unit
1 – 4 ton unit
7 – 6 ton units
4 – 7.5 ton units
4 – 10 ton units
Bids will be received by the Carbon County Clerk’s Office, 751 E 100 North, Price Utah 84501, until no later than February 16, at 5:00 p.m. Bids will be opened at 4:30 p.m., February 17 during the regularly scheduled Carbon County Commission meeting at the County Administration Building, 751 East 100 North, Price Utah. The bid bond form submitted with the bid must identify the project name as shown in the contract documents.
Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due to delays in delivery by any source. Faxed bids are not accepted.
Bids are subject to approval by the County Commission. Carbon County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality of any bid and select the bid which in the opinion of the county provides the best product, warranty, and service.
