The Carbon High Dinos wrestling team competed at the Battle of the Pound tournament in Gunnison on Saturday. The Dinos grappled their way to the top of the tournament ladder with a second place overall win. Carbon was one of 15 schools to compete at the event.
Both varsity and junior varsity teams participated in the Gunnison meet, allowing each competitor the opportunity to sharpen their skills for upcoming region action.
Carbon will host North Sevier Tuesday night at 7 p.m. before traveling to to South Sevier Wednesday. The team will then return home to host Delta Thursday at 7 p.m.
