The Dinos faced a total of three games throughout the weekend. Each ended in a loss for the Dinos and included matches against Desert Hills, Hurricane and Pine View.
Friday’s morning against Desert Hills ended in a 7-0 loss for the Dinos. The soccer team then continued their hopes of victory as they faced off against the Hurricane Tigers. After a brutal match, though, the team walked away with an identical 7-0 final score.
In Saturday’s game against the Panthers played at Pine View, Carbon managed to find the net twice thanks to the team’s offense. The defense, however, couldn’t stop the Panthers from advancing and scoring seven points in the first half, leading the home team to a 7-2 win.
Carbon, looking for a victory to add to their season-opening win against Tooele, will next host Juab on Wednesday.
