Members of the community were delighted Saturday night with music from Carbon High School Choir as part of its Spring Festival Concert.
The men’s choir kicked off the festivities with “Jubilate! Joy We Bring, “Set Me as a Seal Upon Your Heart” and “Bonse Aba”. Next came a solo from Alonso Navarro singing “La Sena”.
Musettes got the crowd moving with “Molly Malone,” “Laudate Pueri Dominum” and “Niska Banja.” Next was Sadie Crompton playing “Autumn” on the piano, and Bethany Prettyman singing “Se tu M’ami”.
Vocal jazz and concert choir mixed it up a bit with “Gloria,” “Things that Never Die” and “Elijah Rock”. Vocal jazz ended the concert with “Abendied,” “Salmo 150” and “Prayer”.
