Carbon High Seniors took a trip down memory lane, as they walked the halls that they once roamed for the annual Carbon High Grad Walk.
The Grad Walk is one of tradition and nostalgia. Seniors are invited to walk the halls of their old elementary and middle schools in their cap and gowns. Hallways are lined with future graduates and teachers, as seniors strut their stuff. Family members were also invited, to watch as their graduates walked the halls one last time.
Kids cheered as they reached out their hands for their chance to get a high five or a hug from a graduate that they knew. Seniors also had the chance to bid farewell to a few of their old teachers and thank them for the difference that they had made in their lives.
The Grad Walk isn’t just for seniors, but an opportunity to inspire the younger generation and show them what their future could hold.
ETV News would like to offer a congratulations to all seniors graduating for the 2023-2024 school year, and wish them the best of luck on their future endeavors.
